It has been many years since my husband smoked cigars. I remember last seeing him smoking one at our wedding when he splurged on cigars for all of our guests – the male ones anyway. But he has told me that he has had at least a few since then as well. (He has also assured me that the very last one was over five years ago).
I don’t remember what he liked best at the time … Was it gurkha cigars? Whatever the brand was, he considered them worth going all the way to Hamilton – one city away from us – to get a fresh box for the wedding.

We seem to be the last family on the planet to own a smartphone.  When the world was going gaga over each new model of phone, we either continued to carry our older model cell phone or nothing at all.

Recently that changed when I finally got my first touch screen phone.  I was excited when I brought it home the first day.

Technology never stands still.  So even after getting what you think is the most cutting edge electronic gadget, you will probably soon discover that it has rapidly become obsolete.  That’s one reason why I’m already looking out for my next smartphone with my eye on the latest htc bell phone.
