Encourage reading and writing

Encourage your children in reading and writing in any way you canĀ  by read together every day. You may read lots of short and simple books especially alphabet books.Reread your child’s favorite books as often as they asks and point to words as you read books, lists, labels, cards, signs.Encourage your child to point to words as they read a book. Teach your child to read their first name by printing it for their labeling their belongings. Provide lots of materials and time for drawing.
